A Mednefits Member Is Unable to Scan the QR Code: What Should I Do?

If a Mednefits member is experiencing difficulties scanning your clinic or store's QR code, consider the following potential reasons and solutions:

 

Possible Causes and Solutions

 

  1. Inactive Mednefits Account

    The member's Mednefits account may no longer be active. Kindly verify the account status.

  2. Access Restrictions

    The member might not have access to your clinic due to their company's panel provider settings. Employers can restrict which clinics their employees can visit.

  3. Incorrect Scanning Method

    Ensure the member is using the Mednefits app to scan the QR code, not their phone's default camera application.

  4. Camera Access Not Granted

    The Mednefits app requires camera permissions to scan QR codes. Ask the member to check and enable camera access for the app in their device settings.
