Reimbursement by Company Admin via payroll

The approval of the claims submitted on the Mednefits platform is an internal process by your company and it is authorised by your HR. Please kindly check with your respective HR regarding claims submission approval.

 

Reimbursement by Mednefits via bank transfer

For a company that has appointed Mednefits for reviewing the claims submission, we have a different schedule for reimbursement. Generally, the processing schedule will be like the below:

 


 

Schedule A:

 

Process By When
Submission of Non-Panel Claims (Cut-off Date)

By 25th of every month

(e.g. 25th January)

Processing of Non-Panel Claims (Approval/Rejection)

By 26th of every month 

(e.g. 26th - 31st January)

Reimbursement Processing for Approved Claims

7th of the following month, or the next working day if the 7th falls on a weekend or public holiday

(e.g. 7th February)

Receipt of Reimbursement Amount 

Within the next 2-3 days

(e.g 9th or 10th February for the money to arrive at your bank account)

 

Schedule B:

 
Process By When
Submission of Non-Panel Claims (Cut-off Date)

By 25th of every month

(e.g. 25th January)

Processing of Non-Panel Claims (Approval/Rejection)

By 26th of every month 

(e.g. 26th - 31st January)

Reimbursement Processing for Approved Claims

21st of the following month, or the next working day if the 21st falls on a weekend or public holiday

(e.g. 21st February)

Receipt of Reimbursement Amount 

Within the next 2-3 days

(e.g 23rd or 24th February for the money to arrive at your bank account)

 

Schedule C (with 2 processing cycles):

During the claim submission, please take note of the below reminders:

  1. Claims submitted after the cut-off date of 25th will be included in the following month.
  2. Claims are to be submitted within 30 days from receipt date.
  3. Panel providers visits submitted as non-panel claims will be rejected.
  4. Email notification will be sent by Mednefits to inform you if the claim has been approved or rejected.
