I’m at a Mednefits panel provider/clinic and I can’t use Mednefits. What should I do?

When you are at a panel clinic or provider and need to see a doctor, it can be frustrating to discover that something isn’t working on your Mednefits app, or that the experience isn't as seamless as it should be.

 

Below is the following issue you might be experiencing: 

 


 

Benefits Schemes have not started!

 

Your Benefits Schemes have not started. You can only start enjoying your Benefits (panel registration and claims submission (if eligible) once it reaches your scheme's start date.

 

 


 

Balance has expired

 

Your Benefits Period has expired - You may check on your scheme's end date.

 

You can check if your Mednefits account is still active by checking the validity under your Benefits Scheme via My Benefits.

 


 

I can’t log in!

 

Please see this article to troubleshoot your login issues: I cannot login, what can I do?

 

It is also possible that your Mednefits account has expired or has been deactivated. If you believe that your account has been deactivated or has not been renewed due to an administrative error, please call us at +65 31635403 (Singapore) or +603 30995 774 (Malaysia) and we will check it for you.
 


 

When I tap Register, the app does not respond

 

This is most commonly caused by not granting the Mednefits app permission to use the camera, particularly on iOS.


To fix this problem on iOS:

 

Step 1: Go to your phone’s Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down to Mednefits.

Step 3: Make sure that the Mednefits app has permission to access the Camera.

 

 


 

Restricted

 

Your company has blocked the clinic you are trying to scan in at. This can happen if your company has opted to block clinics by category or by region.

 

  • Example A: if your company has chosen to block TCM clinics, you will see this message when trying to scan in at Mednefits TCM clinics.

  • Example B: if your company has chosen to block this clinic, you will see this message when trying to scan in at Mednefits clinic. 

 

 


 

I can't checkout 

 

Please see this article to troubleshoot your checkout issues: I can’t checkout after registering at the clinic! 

 


 

All Mednefits provders have QR codes. Please identify yourself as a Mednefits member to avoid paying out of pocket for the visit. Do call us immediately at +65 3163 5403 (Singapore) or +603 3099 5774 (Malaysia) if you encounter the following situation and we will clarify the situation with provider. 

  • If any panel provider is without a Mednefits QR code.

  • If the Mednefits provider has a QR code but does not allow you to pay via Mednefits.
