I’m at a Mednefits partner clinic and I can’t use Mednefits. What should I do?

When you are at a clinic and need to see a doctor, it can be frustrating to discover that something isn’t working on your Mednefits app, or that the experience isn't as seamless as it should be.

I can’t log in!

It is also possible that your Mednefits account has expired or has been deactivated. If you believe that your account has been deactivated or has not been renewed due to an administrative error, please call us at +65 6254 7889 and we will check it for you.

When I tap Register, the app crashes!

This is most commonly caused by not granting the Mednefits app permission to use the camera, particularly on iOS.

To fix this problem on iOS:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Scroll down to Mednefits.
  3. Make sure that that the Mednefits app has permission to access the Camera.

When I scan the QR code, the app cannot register me and tells me to call Mednefits!

If you encounter this message after scanning in at a Mednefits partner clinic, please call us at +65 6254 7889 and we will check your account for you.

There are two likely reasons for this message:

  1. Your Mednefits account is no longer active.
    • You can check if your Mednefits account is still active by checking your E-card.
    • If you believe that your account has been deactivated or has not been renewed due to an administrative error, please call us at +65 6254 7889. We definitely want to know about it!
  2. Your company has blocked the clinic you are trying to scan in at.
    • This can happen if your company has opted to block clinics by category or by region.
    • Example A: if your company has chosen to block TCM clinics, you will see this message when trying to scan in at Mednefits TCM clinics.
    • Example B: if your company has chosen to block clinics in Malaysia, you will see this message when trying to scan in at Mednefits clinics in Malaysia.

When I try to check out, the app asks me to register again!

I have tried the steps above but am still unable to log in, register, or check out at the clinic!

Please call us at +65 6254 7889. It is important that you do this while you are still at the clinic, as the clinic may otherwise not be able to identify you as a Mednefits member.

Inform the clinic staff that you are a Mednefits member, even if you are experiencing problems with the app. The clinic may be able to verify your Mednefits member status.

If you do not identify yourself as a Mednefits member at the clinic, you will be required to pay the walk-in consultation fee.

The clinic doesn’t accept payment by Mednefits credits!

All Mednefits GP clinics have QR codes, but some Mednefits dental and TCM clinics do not. If you are at a dental or TCM clinic without a Mednefits QR code, please show your Mednefits E-card at the clinic counter and you will be given the corporate rate for Mednefits members. You will have to pay out-of-pocket for this transaction.

If the Mednefits partner has a QR code but does not allow you to pay using Mednefits credits, please call us immediately at +65 6254 7889 and we will clarify the situation with the clinic.

The clinic doesn’t recognise Mednefits!
